These kittens advertised below left are not Registered from an approved breeding program. No doubt there has been no testing for PKD, FeLV and FIV. The parents may be "pedigree" but there will be bo registration papers issued in the owners name to certify their "pedigree" status and you, the owner will have no comeback or surety with a registeringbody if anything goes wrong . Burmillas are shaded or tipped, not tabby, or solid black. Why would you pay $595.00 for a crossbred kitten which will have had one vaccination, is not microchipped or desexed, when you get a pedigree kitten from a registered breeder of many years experience in showing and breeding, from a tested cattery, which is health warrantied, fits the breed standard, is vaccinated, microchipped as per Victorian legislation, and already desexed for $650.00?
Buying from an Unregistered breeder VS a Registered breeder.......
Fourth Generation Burmilla kittens, one of which now resides in the USA. They fit the Burmilla standard for type and have the expected Burmilla temperament and "look". They come from an eleven year program, with many titled cats behind them. They are bred from PKD, FeLV and FIV negative stock and are health warrantied. They are also properly socialised, staying with us until 12 -13 weeks of age, microchipped s per Victorian legislation, vaccinated twice, wormed, litter trained,, vet checked and desexed. How much? Starting at $650.00..........a small price to pay for peace of mind and knowing you have the real thing...... Come on folks.........really? $595.00 for a moggy???

Unregistered Breeders Kittens
Why buy your new kitten from registered breeder? Purebred kittens are like designer handbags. Sounds crazy but it's true. We all know that there is the authentic designer bag then there are the cheap knock offs. The real designer bags are hand crafted, made with care and attention to detail. They are good quality and you know you are getting what you pay for, the real thing! Cheap knock offs are slapped together in sweatshops from substandard materials. They appear similar to the real thing but look closely and it is clear they are just an imitation. Sadly they often dont last as long as the real deal because they are not well made. It is the same with registered purebred kittens. A kitten from a registered breeder comes with a pedigree that proves it is the breed they say it is. Unregistered breeders just breed cats that are just look alikes. The only difference between kittens and designers bags (aside from the fur!) is that kittens from registered breeders dont cost more. In some cases they cost less especially when they have vaccinations, microchipping and desexing included in the price. Registered breeders follow the standards set by their asociations and breed for love not money. The money they get from kittens goes right back into registration costs, feeding and maintaining their stock properly, testing for health and showing amongst a myriad of other things. So buyer beware. Dont make the mistake of buying your kitten from an unregistered breeder. Why have a cheap knock off when you can have the real thing?" Courtesy of www.cuddleton.com
